STEP-PPD is a comprehensive training course designed to increase primary care providers’ understanding of PPD and support them in caring for women with PPD. This online course features three modules covering the following topics:

Basic introduction to the topic of PPD
PPD symptoms
Risk factors
Consequences of PPD when left untreated
Assessing PPD
Suggested screening protocols
How and when to conduct assessments for PPD
Referral and consultation
Treating PPD
Engaging women in the treatment process
Determining which treatment(s) to use
